A Belgian Ford-dealer felt the full force of nature during stormy weather yesterday, destroying several cars including a new Ford Mustang and a 1912 Ford Model T.
It has been raining on and off for weeks in Belgium, completely saturating the soil. So yesterday when it started pooring down for hours, many people feared that floodings would destroy their property.
For some people that fear became reality, including a big Ford dealer in the region of Aarschot. The dealer's basement was completely flooded with a combination of water and mud.
A brand new Ford Mustang will set you back about 45.000 US Dollars (€40.000) in Belgium, this one seems to be ready to scrap, what a shame!
The video that's been circulating on Facebook also has someone saying that there's a 1912 Ford Model T inside, and a Ford Focus RS. We couldn't find pictures of those yet, but that would be an incredible loss.
Our deepest sympathy goes out to the dealership owners, the employees and all other victims of the floodings, mother nature can be a b*tch sometimes.
There was still room for a few laughs yesterday though, some people went kayaking in the streets, probably a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
